Felix The Cat
Did you know cat cartoons were being made for Pathe News in America nearly 90 years ago.

They were created by an Australian called Pat Sullivan who emigrated to America about 1910.
He developed a strip cartoon about a black and white cat called Felix “who just kept on walking”
but turned the exploits of Felix into silent films from 1920-29.
Pathe editions remain available to watch to-day. It is fascinating to see how Felix and
the other cast members are able to tell their story in their own form of kat-talk.

Puffin hopes you enjoyed that…Cats and Felix always like to have a happy ending!
